Learn More About Landscapers Supply
Have a landscaping-related question? We have the answer! Check out our FAQs below to learn more about our company and services.
What is the difference between chicken compost and mushroom compost?
The difference between the two is the smell. With mushroom compost, there is an ammonia smell. Ammonia is a nitrogen source that makes the mushroom smell bad. Even though ammonia is a nitrogen source, it has to be converted by the soil microbes before plants can be planted in the soil. Check our blog for more landscaping supplies information.
How much is a scoop?
It depends on what you are getting. A mulch scoop covers 10’x 10′ feet and is about 2″ inches thick. We at Landscapers Supply have a variety of lawn and garden supplies for all your landscaping needs. Come visit us today!
What is the difference between type S and type N mortar mix?
Type N is for general purpose use above grade interior/exterior walls under normal load-bearing.
Type S is stronger and used for structural load-bearing applications at or below grade.

Why are the delivery charges so much? I live right down the road.
The charge covers much more than the distance we have to drive. We have to factor in the time to load the product, the cost to operate the equipment, fuel, insurance, and the cost of the lawn equipment itself. We realize it sounds high, but when you consider all these facts, it’s really not that bad.
Do you have a seed planting schedule for grasses?
Yes, it’s available here. However, the best way to determine proper nutrient needs is to obtain a soil test. This test can be done at Landscapers Supply of Greenville for FREE. Come get all your lawn and garden supplies here.
How long will it take to service my mower?
All our customers are important to us and we treat each case on an individual basis. Typically, simple services such as oil changes, spark plugs, etc, have a shorter turnaround time. Other services needing extra parts that must be ordered may take slightly longer. We understand the importance of your lawn equipment, so we work as fast as we can.
